WHAT IS 1 UNIT OF FABRIC?

1 unit of fabric refers to 0.25 metre of fabric. Please note that if you order 1 unit of fabric, it will be cut as a fat quarter (i.e. a square piece 50cm x half the width of the fabric). If this does not suit your project and you would prefer 0.25 metre cut straight from the bolt (i.e. 25cm x the full width of the fabric), simply request this in the 'Comments' field on the Checkout page.

Orders of 2 units and above are cut direct from the bolt as one continuous piece - 2 units make up 0.5 metre (i.e. 50cm x the full width of the fabric), 3 units is 0.75 metre, 4 units give you 1.0 metre and so on. The exception to this is if we have specified that a particular fabric is sold by piece.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM QUANTITY OF FABRIC I CAN BUY?

The minimum quantity you can purchase of an individual fabric is 1 unit (0.25 metre). In cases of fabrics with shorter widths, the minimum quantity is 2 units (0.5 metre). Please refer to individual product description for more details.

HOW ACCURATE IS THE COLOUR OF THE FABRIC I SEE ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN?

The fabrics displayed on our website have been either scanned or photographed. We do not alter the colour in anyway, however, we cannot guarantee that the colour of the product exactly match what you see being displayed on your viewing device, due to various factors such as monitor settings and screen resolution. Please refer to individual product descriptions for a text description as well.

WHY IS MY CUT OF FABRIC NOT THE EXACT PATTERN I SEE ON THE WEBSITE?

At Precip, we try to give customers as accurate a product description as we could. The fabric image that you see on the website is roughly what you would get if you buy a fat quarter. However, as fabric print runs continuously, the actual cut may differ in terms of the positions of the prints (e.g. the image on the website shows the bird in the middle, but your actual fabric cut shows the bird at the corner of the cut.)

WHY IS THE COLOUR OF THE FABRIC DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST ONE I BOUGHT?

Most of the fabrics are printed by hand, and therefore each batch of fabric may have slight colour variation from other batches.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF PRECIP DOES NOT HAVE THE FABRIC QUANTITY I WANT ON THE WEBSITE?

Most of the fabrics can be custom ordered, with minimum order of 10 metres per design per colour. You can drop us an email at sales@precip.com.sg to discuss more. Please allow up to 8 weeks for custom orders to arrive.

I REGRETTED BUYING THE FABRIC. CAN I EXCHANGE OR REFUND IT?

Unfortunately, once the fabric is cut from the bolt, we are unable to do any exchange or refund for it.
